The highest quality food safety certification

“Staburadzes konditoreja” Ltd receives the highest quality food safety certification and is the first confectionery and readymade meals company in Latvia that is certified according to the international food safety quality standard ISO 22000:2005. It establishes continuous improvement of safety standards in the company and gives added value also to the cooperation partners and clients of the certified companies.

“The granted ISO quality certifications is a proof of long and persistent work, continuously improving the management system and production processes. Undoubtedly, it is the result of joint work of our employees, which proves that the company has operated efficiently to develop, maintain and continuously improve the quality management system. Also the results of customer questionnaire conducted by “Maxima Latvija” Ltd in November attest customer approval and high appreciation; cake “Cielaviņa” from “Staburadzes konditoreja” Ltd was acknowledged as one of the most favorite Latvian products. The company thinks of it as a confirmation that people constantly choose local products of high quality and prefer classical and proven values.

In October 2010, the quality management system of “Staburadzes konditoreja” Ltd was re-certified as compliant with the international standard ISO 9001:2008, and both production units of the company (confectionery and Pedro products) have been certified according to the standard ISO 22000:2005: “Food safety management systems. Requirements for any organization in the food chain”.

The international certification organization “Bureau Veritas” that has certified more than 52 000 companies worldwide was chosen as the partner of “Staburadzes konditoreja” Ltd in the certification process.
